		<description>I believe you don&#039;t want to put it on carpet, as the unit might tilt and cause water to drain into the unit. You just need a stable base and you&#039;ll be fine.

As for cleaning, I really don&#039;t clean mine but every few weeks and I&#039;ve never had any problems with bacteria or mold. Medical companies just say that to cover themselves in the case of lawsuits. I just rinse mine out each day before refilling it.</description>
